The Color of Light in Oil Painting
James Poulson November 21, 2009 10:00-4:00 at the YAM Member $55.00 Non-Member $60.00 Well known oil painter Poulson will demonstrate the use of color and value in painting light. Students should bring their own painting to work on following the demonstration. Supplies should include your own painting or a small canvas or panel, bristle brushes, alkyd paint medium or liquin and odorless thinner. Jim's palette includes titanium white,cadmium yellow light, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium orange, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson or rose madder, viridian, sap green, cerulean blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, dioxazine purple, and Payne's gray.
