41^st Annual Art Auction and First Saturday Dollar Days!

(Billings, MT March 7, 2009)  Come and join the festivities! The Yellowstone Art Museum invites you to attend Art Auction 41, Saturday, March 7, held at the Museum at 401 N. 27th St, Billings, MT. The annual Art Auction is the Yellowstone Art Museum’s most significant fundraising event, generating proceeds in support of exhibitions and programming.  Hundreds attend this fun event, mingle with friends, and bring the best of the region’s original art into their lives.

The event consists of a silent auction, a live auction, a quick draw, and a fabulous dinner buffet, all within the beautiful background created by the Museum’s spacious galleries. The Silent Auction begins Saturday, March 7, from 5:30-11:00 p.m. and features a dinner and dessert buffet catered by Beyond Basil, followed by the Quick Draw; Raffle, and Live Auction bidding on a piece of exquisite jewelry donated by sponsor Montague’s Jewelers. 

Admission to Saturday’s event is $135 and includes free raffle ticket.  The raffle drawing will be  the night of the art auction; raffle tickets may be purchased separately and the ticket holder need not be present to win. Additionally, the YAM kicks off First Saturday Dollar Days on Saturday, March 7, 2009.  On the first Saturday of every month, admission will be $1 per person and free to members.  Saturday hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Parking is always free, just off of N. 27th Street, behind the YAM.
