Artcycle: A Green Day at the YAM PDF Print E-mail

Help transform trash into art at the Yellowstone Art Museum on Saturday, September 24, 2011, during Artcycle, a fun event celebrating sustainability at the YAM's own green building, the Visible Vault. This indoor-outdoor event will include music, artmaking, Visible Vault tour, and activities in the artist-in-residence Studio with new resident Brooke Atherton.

Add your own touch to the "Art Car" -a scrap vehicle to be recycled into a long-term display at the YAM. During the event, observe Red Lodge Clay Center visiting artist Andrew Gilliatt as he demonstrates his ceramic art techniques. See a special ceramic art display by Matt Wilt. Live music will be provided by Plumb Blue, and the event will run 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. with a suggested five dollar donation to participate.

Artcycle is sponsored by A & A Auto and Snitzer-Billings, formerly Golden Steel and Recycling.
