This exhibition was drawn from the Yellowstone Art Museum's permanent collection. It comprised twenty-one large abstract paintings, the majority of the large collection of Stefanellis that is part of the Poindexter gift of American Abstract Expressionist work. Joseph Stefanelli is a second-generation New York Abstract Expressionist whose thought processes are revealed in the large body of work that this exhibition showcased.
