Description of the Tour
Docent-led Tours Tours are approximately one hour in length. Students will be introduced to the Museum and several of the current exhibitions. Docents have been trained in all aspects of the collection and special exhibitions, visual thinking strategies, and teaching with original objects in a museum setting. Tours can be designed to accommodate special curriculum considerations at the request of the teacher. Please inform us with specific requests at the time of scheduling.
School Tour Size Group size is limited to 30 students or one class. Groups of 16 or more will be divided so that tour size is manageable. We ask that there be one adult chaperone from your school for every 10 students.
Cancellation If you must cancel a scheduled tour, please call our office as soon as possible, so that we may inform the docent(s).
